Toshiba Sushi Roller-coaster

With the launch of their new ‘Seriously Japanese’ positioning, Toshiba wanted to demonstrate the power of their laptops and tablets in an unconventional way. So rather than a traditional roadshow, Iris created the first Pop-Up Zushi Roller Coaster Restaurant.

The entire experience was powered by Toshiba’s devices, from the custom built mechanical roller coaster and individual trolleys, right down to the menu and ordering system, proving that although Toshiba is ‘Seriously Japanese’, it can also be seriously fun.

I designed the UI menu for the tablets, decor (table clothes, banners, screens) and took publicity photos on the night.

My Role: Designer.
