AntiSlavery Australia Human Mart

Shockingly, more than 15,000 people are held in modern slavery in Australia. The people involved in the trafficking trade think humans can be bought and sold. So to demonstrate this to the public, we created a supermarket “selling” products which represent victims of trafficking: Human Mart. Sydnersiders visited the store to experience 70 real, physical products, each carrying the name and story of a real victim of slavery.

The work is now part of a travelling installation of AntiSlavery Australias.

My Role: Designed the branding, store collateral, posters, magazines, many of the products and photographer.
